WHAT WE DO:

Our goal is to awaken the art of everyday life through simple, transformative performance events.  We believe in theatre as a home for all forms of expression, crafted by an ensemble of co-creators into a unique experience of storytelling. We attempt new processes to create new work for new audiences, while exploring age-old questions of what it is to be alive.  We celebrate the power of shared presence, visceral communication, and collective imagination.  We invite you to play too.

WHAT’S NEXT:

I’VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY

a new musical transmedia performance party from Rude Mechanicals

Since First Night Austin 2007, EM & NG have been lucky enough to work with the RUDE MECHANICALS on Kirk Lynn & Peter Stopschinski’s psychedelic western operetta, “I’VE NEVER BEEN SO HAPPY.”  We’ve been hard at work designing a live shadow story to play along with the killer music and performances, and we are loving every minute of it.

The full-length production is scheduled to debut in Fall 2010.  So keep an eye out!  For more information, visit the Rude Mechs website
